Many developers view public agencies as a hurdle. At Hybrid we view public agencies as a partner in the process and an engine that can promote economic development and make tough projects happen. We regularly reach out to agencies and officials to take their pulse on projects and gauge their level of support. By functioning as partners, not adversaries, with government agencies, we better understand and manage risks as well as benefits. We also actively engage community groups throughout the process not just to get their approval but to get their input as well. In seeing public officials and members of the community as true stakeholders, we find that our projects are easier to complete because everyone is vested in seeing them succeed.
